Nadia Naqi: Pakistan Responded Firmly and Strategically to Indian Aggression

In response to late-night airstrikes carried out by India on six different locations—including areas in Punjab’s Sialkot and Bahawalpur, as well as regions within Azad Jammu and Kashmir—the Pakistani military has reportedly downed five Indian fighter jets.

According to news conflict between the two nations escalated shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, when India initiated what it called “Operation Sindoor.” Following the initial reports, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the strikes, clarifying that the attacks were launched from Indian airspace. By around 4 a.m., the military spokesperson issued an updated statement, confirming the deaths of eight civilians as a result of the strikes.
