Online education impact on childrens

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States has deemed online schooling to be “dangerous” to children’s mental health and well-being.

According to a report published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), children who obtained online education or a combination of online and in-person education were at higher risk on 11 of 17 measures of child and parental well-being.

The CDC study is based on survey responses from 1,290 parents of children aged 5 to 12 years old who were contacted between October and November 2020.

In contrast to the 16 percent of children who received only in-person education, approximately 25% of children who received online education or a combination of online and in-person education showed decreased mental and emotional health.
