The Secretary-Common of the United Nations has voiced critical concern relating to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following a tragic Pahalgam Assault by which 26 vacationers had been killed in Indian-administered Kashmir.
India has attributed oblique duty to Pakistan, claiming that two people concerned are Pakistani residents. In response to the assault, India has halted the implementation of a key water-sharing settlement.
When questioned about his controversial assertion suggesting that blocking Pakistan’s water might result in extreme penalties for India, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Folks’s Celebration, dismissed the accusations. Talking to the BBC, he said that Pakistan is being unfairly blamed for the assault.
