Keanu Reeves Returns as John Wick in 'Ballerina' Spinoff

The ‘John Wick’ star is currently in Prague, where filming has begun for the spinoff film.

Collider can completely reveal that Keanu Reeves is currently in Prague and set to reprise his position as John Wick in the John Wick by-product film starring Ana de Armas. This exciting file comes at the heels of the declaration that the Ballerina movie may even see Ian McShane return to the franchise as Winston, the supervisor of The Continental Hotel. It is not but clean if Reeves’ reprisal may be a cameo, or if he will have a larger element inside the overarching plot of Ballerina.

Since the primary John Wick movie landed in theaters in 2014, the Chad Stahelski-helmed franchise has grown exponentially, with 3 extra movies—including the particularly anticipated John Wick 4—as well as  derivative projects. Ballerina is presently filming in Prague, with Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) directing the screenplay by Shay Hatten. Also on the horizon is the John Wick prequel collection, The Continental, a good way to recognition at the titular resort and the early years of Winston’s existence. With the franchise continuing to enlarge and starting to discover prequel tales, it has left enthusiasts to take a position approximately in which Ballerina will suit in the timeline. What We Know About John Wick 4

Reeves will reunite with his former Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne in this next outing as Wick. In addition to McShane, the film will see the return of Charon (Lance Reddick), who join the impressive cast list of Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and Clancy Brown. John Wick 4‘s official synopsis doesn’t give a lot away about where Wick will be when he returns, but it certainly ups the stakes:

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
