The Young Avengers have slowly been transitioned into the Champions, and although both units remain, it’s the latter that has had more focus recently. The Outlawed narrative forced the Champions to abandon their vigilante gigs because of a new law that forbids underage heroism.
Of course, they didn’t stay out of the fight for long, and the arc somewhat reflects the Superhero Registration Act, which took the form of the Sokovia Accords in the MCU. The rise of young heroes on screen, from Spider-Man to Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye, could lead to this new initiative being played out in an exciting story.
