In an interview with The Guardian in February 2022, the enduring Glee megastar, who struggles with alcohol dependancy, revealed she had gotten sober for a 2d time after relapsing numerous years previous.

“I became a gourmet of wine in a way that simplest an alcoholic can,” she shared of her relapse. Apparently, she turned into drinking whilst starring in Paramount+’s The Good Fight, in which she appeared in from 2017 to 2021. She shared: “I went back into denial, in any case those years of sobriety and self-knowledge. I fooled myself — I awoke someday and went: ‘I’m returned.'”

Lynch were given sober again six months after her relapse. “[It was] just like the sober fairy said, ‘OK, I’m giving you one extra chance,'” she said. “And it changed into over. Five o’clock might come and I didn’t be aware it.”
