Stand By Me (1986) (2/11)

Often ranked some of the great Stephen King variations in history, Stand through Me has emerge as a own family staple regardless of the reality that it has an R score. User MondoUnderground couldn’t wrap their head across the film’s strict rating, writing: “Stand By Me. How a film like that may have an R-score is past me.”

Though its content warranted a PG-thirteen at worst, it’s far the context that pushes it into R-rated territory. If the movie’s activities have been occurring to adults, it’d have maximum probable been given a pass, but the cast’s juvenile nature meant that the MPAA did not appearance too kindly upon the things the characters had been doing within the movie.
