‘Star Wars’ (1977) – set “a long time ago” (7/8)

The Star Wars series is not clean approximately when it takes place, given the movies open with the well-known text: “A long time in the past, in a galaxy far, a long way away.” But one component is for positive, as indistinct as that is probably: by using “a long time in the past,” Star Wars is certainly set in the past, making it perhaps the most famous technology-fiction series explicitly set during years long gone via.

Though of direction, Star Wars qualifies as a fable collection, in many methods, which leads to the “antique” or “a long term ago” time frame making more experience. Additionally, whilst the collection makes a speciality of remote planets and existence paperwork, they do draw from our personal records, further meshing the beyond with otherwise futuristic ideas, concepts, and visuals.
